Texture Detectives
Visual Arts
April 12 – June 25
Think of yourself as a texture detective seeking out interesting relief surfaces and reproducing them through a technique known as frottage (an art term for the process of making rubbings). Your quest for discovering hidden surfaces may take you inside, outside or you can make them up yourself. Once you have all your rubbings, piece them together through the collage technique and reveal a unique work of art.
Please check your local public health unit’s current Covid-19 protocol before exploring outdoors in your community.
